Lois Allen Summers Bolingbroke

Lois Allen Summers Bolingbroke died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living, Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho at the age of 97 years. She was born February 3, 1920 in Bothwell, Box Elder County, Utah, the daughter of Leslie William Allen and Delia Deem. She was the sister of Louis Allen (twin), Richard Glenn Allen, Delbert Allen and Hope Allen (Clough). She married Arlo Summers June 3, 1937 in the Logan temple and had one son, Dennis A. Summers. They were later divorced. She was also married to Henry Bolingbroke of Malad, Idaho. They spent time traveling and fishing, and winters in Mesa Arizona. She is survived by her sister, Hope Clough, of Holbrook, Idaho; six grandchildren: Grant Summers, Pam Gough, Mark Summers, Todd Summers, Jennifer Kunz and Jason Summers; and 16 great-grandchildren Lois was a member of the LDS church, attended Bear River High School and cosmetology school. She enjoyed spending time with family, doing hair and reading. She enjoyed winters in Arizona playing shuffle board and keeping the mobile park ladies’ hair looking good. She enjoyed leather tooling, sewing, and making crafts. She was very thrifty and loved her family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the LDS Church at 345 S. 1000 W. in Tremonton, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday for 30 min prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held in the Riverview Cemetery.
