Tremonton…Lloyd Leon Jenkins, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Leon was living in the Avondale, Arizona area. Leon was born to Lloyd and Lois Jenkins on the 9th of March 1955 in Malad, Idaho. He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Leon was raised in Tremonton, Utah and graduated from Bear River High School in 1973. He had a love of good roping horses and he loved to team rope. Leon had great mechanical skills and when he set his mind to something there was nothing he couldn’t accomplish. There was nothing Leon couldn’t fix or repair. Leon is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Lois, two sisters, Linda (Wayne) Earl and LouAnn (Val) Oyler, three children, Sheldon, Ferrin, and Shanna Leece. Leon was preceded in death by a son, Brandon. Funeral services for Leon will be held Monday the 25th of February at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad City, Idaho (208) 766-4330. A viewing will be held for family and friends from 10:30 to 11:45am prior to the services. Interment will be in the Malad Cemetery.
