Linda Rae Andersen

Linda Rae Andersen of Malad City, ID passed away on May 23, 2014 surrounded by family. Linda, also known as “Grandma” was born April 15, 1949 in Evanston, Wyoming. Linda was the daughter of Elwin H Andersen and Ina Jean Hall Andersen.

She was raised and educated in Richmond, UT and later graduated from Bear River High School. She was married to Jed C. Lamb for 25 years and was blessed with four children, Brett (Leisa) Lamb, Wade Lamb, Kristy (Tony) Downey, and Rebecca (Brian) Ellis. She also has 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was well known for her love of camping and fishing. Throughout her life, Linda expressed care and compassion for others. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, and had a passion for archaeology.

She is survived by her four children, sister’s Elaine (Steve) Ward and Mar Jean (Preston) Watts and all her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents who will be there to welcome her with open arms.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. in Malad, Idaho. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
