Levi Leonard Lyon

MALAD — Our very loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and neighbor, Levi Leonard Lyon, age 21, died May 12, 2001, in a Salt Lake City hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Levi was born November 7, 1979, in Ogden, Utah. He attended elementary school in Stone, Idaho, and graduated in 1998 from Malad High School. Levi was a hard worker. He enjoyed working during his high school years at the Morgan Dairy in Snowville, Utah. Immediately after graduation, he went to work for Rupp’s Construction in Tremonton, Utah and was employed there at the time of his death.
Levi is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Tamarae) Velasco of Stone, Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Michel (Ann) Lyon of Winnemucca, Nevada; brothers and sisters, Michel Ray Lyon, Bear River, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Leo (Brandy) Leija, Hagerman, Idaho, Alicia Velasco and Clint Frank Velasco, Stone, Idaho; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard (JoAnne) Lyon, Winnemucca, Nevada, and Mrs. Alice Slaugh, Stone, Idaho; a niece and nephew, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
A viewing will be held for friends and family Thursday, May 17, 2001, from 11 a.m. until time of the services at the Snowville Ward Chapel, where the funeral will be at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the Snowville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Horsley Funeral Home.
