Leora Donna Maag

CASA GRANDE — Leora Donna Maag, 86, of Casa Grande died on March 22, 2019, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mrs. Maag was born on Dec. 20, 1932, in Boise, Idaho, to Asa C. and Lorina G. (Howard) Emery. She had many talents and owned an alteration shop at Mountain Home (Idaho) Air Force Base. She enjoyed singing, dancing, crafts, horseback riding, boating, photography and sewing.

She drove farm trucks hauling produce from various farms that her husband managed in Idaho. She drove a school bus for a while and then was a postal carrier from Bagdad to Prescott. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was a devoted servant in the callings she received.

Survivors include four daughters and sons, Cheryl Harris (Bruce) of Melba, Idaho, Jerry Lee Maag (Susie) of Mountain Home, Daryl Maag (Yvon) of Malad, Idaho, and Della Carbajal (Ynes) of Maricopa; a sister, Arline Peterson of Salome; four brothers, Bill Barry, Albert, Jerry and Robert Emery; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jarold, in 2016, and a sister, Ruby G. Loening.

Visitation from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the LDS Trekell Building, Relief Society Room. Funeral at 2 in the church.
