Lenna Jiammia Scott Roe

I made my appearance December 19, 1933, at the home of my maternal grandparents in Stone (Delmore), Idaho, the first child of Walter Albert and Jiammia (Neal) Scott. I left the trials of this mortal life on May 26, 2014, at Malad Idaho following a lingering illness. I grew up in the Curlew Valley and enjoyed my life among the Sagebrush and Cedar trees. I attended schools in Holbrook and Stone Idaho, and Lehi Utah, and Bear River High School in Tremonton Utah. I met my best friend here and married the love of my life, Russell Pack Roe on September 20, 1950, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Our home was blessed with 8 wonderful children; Kelly (Sharon) Roe, West Point, Utah; Jeff (Kaylene) Roe, Rockford, Idaho; Jacalyn Roe (deceased); Dennis (Kathleen) Roe, Stone Idaho; Lucinda (David) Nimer, Malad City Idaho; Mitchell Roe (deceased); Hal (Kim) Roe, Farr West, Utah; Eldon (Jody) Roe, Hyrum, Utah. Then 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren filled our hearts. “Miss me once in a while, but don’t mourn for me, I am free of my earthly trials- I am walking with angels and running through the clouds.” Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 12 noon in the Curlew LDS Chapel in Snowville. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. and again on Saturday morning from 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Snowville Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family visiting www.horsleyfuneralhome.com
