Lee Cecil Haskell

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Lee Cecil Haskell, passed away Friday, February 13, 1998 at Maplewood Manor, Ballston Spa, N.Y. He was 76. He was born May 28, 1921 in Malad, Idaho. He was the son of the late Cecil and Amelia Goddard Haskell.

He was a former resident of Roy, Utah. Lee was a past member of the Roy Elks.

He worked as a jockey and raced at the Saratoga Racecourse and throughout the country at numerous tracks for many years. He also retired from the Newton Manufacturing Co. In Iowa.

He had been married to Arlene Cherry, a former resident of Saratoga Springs, N. Y.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Lee Haskell Maas of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and three sisters, Nedra Jacobs of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Elayne Roberts of Ogden, and Janice Johnson of Boise, Idaho; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Tremonton Cemetery, 200 East 1200 South in Tremonton,
