Mrs. Leda Jones Ipsen died at Logan Sept. 9th
Mrs. Leda Jones Ipsen, age 67, died Thursday, Sept. 9th, in a Logan, Utah hospital of natural causes.
Mrs. Ipsen was born June 10, 1909, at Malad, a daughter of Dan and Mary Jane Thomas Jones.
She was a graduate of Malad High School and was a member of the LDS Church.
She was married to Lewis Ipsen Sept. 29, 1927, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died May 3, 1961.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter: Lewis D. Ipsen, Grants Pass, Oregon; Nephi P. Ipsen, Alexandria, Virginia; Mrs. Helen Loomis, Malad; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four brothers and 3 sisters: Otto Jones, Salt Lake City; Max Jones, Gardnerville, Nev.; Lenn Jones, Dallas, Texas; Steve Jones, Soda Springs, Ida.; Mrs. Evan (Lillie) Jones, Pocatello; Mrs. Tom (Ruth) Dives, Malad; Mrs. Fern Vanover; Malad.
Funeral service was held Monday in the Malad First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Myron Jones officiating.
