LaVour Walter Williams

Funeral service held Friday at the Benson Funeral Home for LaVour Walter Williams, 63, who died Dec. 10, 1968, were conducted by Bishop Lon W. Corbridge.
Family prayer at the funeral home was offered by Ren Ray Bowen; the invocation by Gerald Thomas, and the benediction by Thomas D. Evans. The speaker was Ralph Harding and vocal selections were offered by Jenkin Palmer, June Crowther and Norma Gleed. Billy Leigh gave the obituary. The prelude and postlude music was played by Trudy Ward, who was also the accompanist.
Flowers were carried by grandchildren and members of the Malad Third LDS Ward Relief Society. Casket bears were Barry Roderick, Gary Roderick, Bruce Roderick, Dale Roderick, Denny Wharton, Danny Williams, Craig Wharton and Michael Wharton.
Concluding rites were at the Malad City Cemetery with Raiford Benson offering the dedicatory prayer.
