Lance John, 34, passed away December 24, 2009 of injuries sustained in an auto accident.Memorial services held December 28, 2009 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home in Malad.

Larry Lance John, 34, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away December 24, 2009.
Lance was born on November 18, 1975 in Malad, Idaho to Larry and Terri John. He was currently a student at Idaho State University and working at Reed Gymnasium. He had enjoyed working for Life, Inc., the Outdoor Adventure Center, and the Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group (CWHOG)
Lance loved the outdoors, fishing, horse packing, and river trips on the Salmon and Green Rivers. He often stated those were his happiest times.
He is survived by his parents of Malad; his sisters, Emily and her husband, Scott Erickson of Boise; and sisters: Sara Jo John of Boise and Jordan John of Salt Lake City, Utah; and his nieces, Anna, Cecilia, and Lilly Erickson. He is also survived by grandparents, Roy Jones and LaVene John and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents: Anna Lou Jones and Cecil John.
He loved all of his friends and extended family at the Outdoor Adventure Center, C.W. HOG Life, Inc., Reed Gym, and especially Malissa McGonigal.
A memorial was held at noon on Monday, December 28, at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. Malad, Idaho.
