LaJuana Thomas Thomas, (1934)

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and wife, LaJuana T. Thomas returned home to her Heavenly Father Wednesday, Feb 1, 2012, in Malad, Idaho.
LaJuana was born April 4, 1934, in Malad, Idaho to William Dredge Thomas and Amy Irene Thomas.
Survived by husband Monte Thomas, Malad, Idaho, Debra { Tom } Scott Sandy, Utah, Ron { Cyndi } Atkinson, Sandy Utah, Denise { Quin} Deschamps, Pocatello, Idaho, Brad { Carol } Atkinson, Hyde Park, Utah, Mike { Lisa } Atkinson, Malad, Idaho, Josh { Tiffany } Atkinson, Hyde Park, Utah.

Connie { sister } { Joe } Wise, Aiken, South Carolina, Gerry { brother } {Jackie } Thomas, Aiken South Carolina, Norma, {sister-in-law } Thomas, 30 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by { parents } William & Amy Thomas, Malad, Idaho, two brothers, Stanley & DJ Thomas, sister Opal Jean Armstrong, a son, Ricky T. Atkinson and two grandsons, Brandon & Seth Scott.
LaJuana was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions. She loved her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and taught her children by word and example. There was never a time that her children didn’t know of that love and connection she had with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She loved the temple, she was sealed to her sweetheart Monte in the Logan Temple.
The family would like to thank all who have given her medical care, and appreciate all the cards, calls, and condolences during her illness. A special thank you to the 4th Ward Relief Society for their compassionate service.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at 12:00 noon in the Malad Fourth Ward Chapel, 20 South 100 West in Malad. Friends may visit with the Thomas family on Monday evening, February 6, 2012, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North, Malad, Idaho and again from 10:30-11:40 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the services on Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Horsley Funeral Home.
