Kurt Arant

P.F.C. Kurt Arant, 21, of Ft. Campbell Kentucky, died October 14, 1989, in an automobile accident near Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, October 19th, at the Humphrey’s Funeral Home in Mountain Home. Burial followed in the Mountain Cemetery.

Kurt was born April 3, 1968, in St. Louis Missouri to Dale and Kathy Wisniewski. He attended schools in Mountain Home and graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1987. He was an active member of the wrestling team at Mountain Home High School. He joined the Army in 1987. He was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, with the 101st Airborne. He was with the Army wrestling team in Fort Campbell.

He is survived by his father of Murphysboro, Illinois; his mother Kathy Arant of Malad; a brother and sister-in-law, Sgt. Matt and Teresa Arant of Takoma, Washington; a brother, Dean Arant of Boise; a sister, Heather Ellis of Hemmett, California; a maternal grandmother, Mary Arant of Las Vegas, Nevada; and a girlfriend, Andrea Strube of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
