Kenneth Ray Bronson

ELWOOD – Kenneth Ray Bronson, 72, of Tremonton, died February 22, 2002 at the McKay Dee Medical Center in Ogden. Kenneth was born in Tremonton on April 30, 1929, the son of John Henry and Joshephine Earl Bronson. He married Barbara Price on March 30, 1949 in Elko, NV, later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Kenneth was reared in Elwood. He attended Bear River high School. He worked as an equipment operator for U & I Sugar and Thiokol, retiring from Thiokol after 31 years.

Kenneth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tremonton 9th Ward. He served as a High Priest, Sunday School president, assistant ward clerk and a home teacher. He loved to spend his summers with his wife, family and friends fishing and camping at Island Park, ID. He loved to oil paint wildlife.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Elwood; two sons, Richard (Ardella) Bronson of Hyrum, UT and Robert (Linda) of Malad, ID; one daughter, Kaylene (Bruce) Hess of Mesa, AZ; four sisters, Afton, Rose, Betty and Rhoda; 18 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers and a son, Terry.

Funeral services will be held February 26, 2002 at the Tremonton 9th Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
