Kaden Jay Bowman

Malad…Our son Kaden Jay Bowman,19, returned home to his Heavenly Father on October 31,2019 as a result of a vehicular rollover crash.

Kaden was born on July 23, 2000 in the Oneida County Hospital in Malad, Idaho to Sarah Elizabeth Braegger and Andy Harold Bowman.

Kaden was raised and educated in Malad and graduated from Oneida High School in 2018. Kaden loved playing sports and was a member of the Malad Dragons Football, Basketball, and Baseball teams. He also participated in wrestling, soccer, and track in his younger years. Kaden stated on a school assignment that his favorite hobby was playing catch with his brothers.

Kaden loved riding motorcycles, bikes, skateboards, and snowboards on which he was fearless, and he loved driving his Toyota pickup. He enjoyed going camping and fishing. Kaden loved listening to music ranging from rap to country to rock. He loved shoes and was always happiest if he had a new pair of shoes on his feet, even if they were hand-me-downs or came from the D.I. He loved animals and he also loved the Dallas Cowboys.

Kaden was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved sharing his Testimony and loved going out teaching with the Missionaries when they invited him. Kaden was sealed to his eternal family in the Logan LDS Temple on May 20th, 2017. Kaden was also active in the Boy Scouts of America and earned many rank advancements and merit badges.

Kaden was kind to everyone and will be missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his big heart, huge smile, goofy laugh, his magic red hair, and his love to joke and tease.

Kaden is survived by his parents Sarah and Chris Showell of Malad, and Roseann Bowman of Burley, Idaho; Brothers, Brooks (Jessica) Bowman, Zack Showell, Caden Showell, and Brady Showell; Sisters, Alyssa Ramos, Nicole Ramos, Lauren Ramos, Amanda Ramos, and Celeste Ramos; Grandparents, Lyle and Sue Braegger of Malad, Jean Showell of Malad, Tom and Norma Harding of Malad, and Cathy Bowman of Downey. He is preceded in death by his father Andy Bowman and grandfathers Gerald Bowman and Steve Showell .

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 6th at 12 noon in the Malad LDS Stake Chapel. Friends may visit with the family at the Stake Center on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the funeral service.
