Junior Asheal (Ace) Wilkins, 65, a longtime resident of Englewood, Colorado, died December 30, 1991, at his home.
Ace was born May 20, 1926, in Gar-land, Utah, a son of Ashel Kenneth and Irene Jammia Cottam Wilkins. He lived in Malad as a youth. He joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Pacific before returning to Malad and marrying Rosemary Kent. His wife preceded him in death in 1981.
Ace was an iron worker and welder.
He is survived by four brothers: Kenneth, John, Deloy and Billy Wilkins of Salt Lake City, Utah; five children: LaDenna Peterson, Pleasant Grove, Utah; Michael Vern, Orem; Alan Kim, California; David John and Julie Rose Wilkins of Colorado; and seven grand-children.
Ace was the son-in-law of Marguerite Ruegsegger of St. John.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 4, 1992 at 10:00 a.m. at the Runyon-Stevenson Mortuary. Interment at Hampden Memorial Gardens, Denver, Colorado.
