June Noreen Daniels, 71, of Pocatello passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at her home peacefully surrounded by her family. She followed her loving husband who passed away on July 3, 2009.
June was born June 3, 1938, in LaBelle, Idaho, the daughter of Andrew C. and Estella Hazel Devenberg Noreen. She attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School, “Class of 56”.
She married Odell S. Daniels on April 7, 1959, in Pocatello, Idaho. They lived in various places around the world as Odell was in the Navy for 20 years. After returning to Pocatello, she worked at Fred Meyer’s as a retail clerk for 20 years, retiring in 1998 because of health reasons.
She was a member of the LDS Church. She greatly enjoyed and loved her children and grandchildren. She was a friend to many and all loved her.
June is survived by a daughter, Natalie Jeniel Daniels, Salt Lake City, Utah; a son, Steven Odell (Tresa) Daniels, Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren: Tyson Odell (Angela) Daniels; Alexis Daniels, Adrian (Steffany) Ismaili; great-grandchildren, Hailee Daniels, Ellie Daniels, Adrian Ismaili Jr.; one brother, three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Odell Daniels, four brothers, three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will meet with friends on Friday one hour prior to service s at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
