June Clark

Malad – June Clark, 75, of Malad, and formerly of Portage, Utah, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1993, in the Oneida County Hospital.

She was born Sept. 5, 1918, in Malad, a daughter of Hugh LeRoy and Sarah Bell Zundell Clark. She had lived in Portage, and was educated in Malad. For several years she had worked in the school for disabled children in Nampa, Idaho.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, and had served in various capacities, including fulfilling a mission to the Washington, D.C. temple.

She is survived by four sons and spouses, Thomas Clark and Maureen John, of Emmett, Idaho, Mark De Mour and Christa John of Sweet, Idaho, Dallas LeRoy and Tammy John of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Darryl Charles and Judy John of Puyallup, Washington; five daughters and spouses, Ida Juliene and Verl Durrant of Centerfield, Utah, Sarah Raylene and Edward Holliday of Glendale, Calif., Cherolyn and Gary Halerverson, Danielle Helen and Grant Farrar, Randi Maxine and Bill Carlile, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; 30 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Alta Clark, Mrs. Dale (Helen) Reese, Mrs. Neal (Beth) Hawkes, Mrs. Farrell (Thelma) Daniels, Mrs. Glen (Lorene) Vaughan, Mrs. Don (Lorraine) Clabby, and Mrs. David (Anne) Peterson. She was preceded in death by one brother, three sisters and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 7, at noon in the Malad LDS Fifth Ward Chapel, Bishop Craig Sperry officiating. Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
