Funeral Services For Julius Albretsen

Funeral services for Julius Albretsen were conducted Saturday afternoon (10 May 1939) at the Second ward L.D.S. church by Bishop Guy Servoss. Julius was born 4 Feb 1882 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Carl and Vergeda Albretsen. He married Jennie Jensen on Feb 21, 1922. Speakers included Spencer Allen, J. M. Isaacson, H. I. Mills and Bishop Servoss. Musical numbers were furnished by the Second ward quartet consisting of Chauncey L. Sorenson, Otto Done, Alden Blaisdell and Elmer Lloyd, accompanied by Mrs. S. A. Hendricks, a solo by Alden Blaisdell and a solo by Mrs. Verl Williams, both accompanied by Mrs. Alden Blaisdell and a duet by Mrs. Chauncey Sorenson and Mrs. Lyman Wight, accompanied by Mrs. Hendricks. The invocation was offered by Joe Bullock and the benediction by John Nielson. Burial was in the Hyrum cemetery.
