Judy K. Williams Wharton

Judy K. Williams Wharton, 54, of Malad, passed away at home May 25, 1993, following a lingering illness.

She was born August 29, 1938, in Malad City, Idaho, a daughter of LaVour and Berniece Leigh Williams. She attended schools in Malad, and Inglewood, California. She married Nathaniel (Nate) John Wharton on July 23, 1955,Tremonton, Utah. After their marriage, they resided in Ogden , Utah, before moving to California in 1955.

They returned to Utah in 1960, and later moved to San Diego, California, in 1972. While there, Judy was employed as a teller for San Diego Trust and Savings. After returning to Malad to make their home in 1983, she had been a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Nate, of Malad; two sons and one daughter, Craig Byron Wharton, Pocatello, Michael John Wharton, Boise, and Mrs. Steven (La Veda Donnette) Gober, Tremonton, Utah; four grandsons; two granddaughters; mother Berniece, of Malad; one sister Mrs. Henry (Durene) Roderick, Malad; and one brother, Doyle L. Williams, Lake Elsinore, California. She was preceded in death by her father, one son, Denny Leigh Wharton, one grandson, and one brother.

Funeral services were held on May 28 in the Benson Horsley Funeral Home.
