Joseph William Laws III

Joseph William Laws III, 46, died May 9, 1993 at the V.A. Hospital in Salt Lake City,(Utah) after a long illness.

He was born April 13, 1947 in Malad City, Idaho, the son of Joseph William Laws Jr., and Margaret Eva Beeton.

He was a Bear River High School graduate and attended Utah State University and Treasure Valley College at Ontario, Oregon. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving as a Radio-Teletype operator.

He married Linda Wells, later divorced; married Cheryl Burt, later divorced; married Terry Stevens, later divorced.

He was a member of the Tremonton Sixth LDS Ward. He enjoyed music and playing the saxophone.

Mr. Laws had worked as an auto parts man in Oregon, Logan, Price and Brigham City. He also worked at Thiokol ad in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joe was a happy person and had a lot of friends. He always found the good in people.

Surviving is one son, Joseph William Colley, Ontario, Oregon; his mother, one brother, James G. Laws, one sister, Julie Warren, all of Tremonton and four nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 13th at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home. Interment was in the Malad City Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion.
