FORT WORTH, Texas – John Steven Pilgrim, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2001.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2001 Willis Lane, Keller, Texas. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, Fort Worth.
John Steven Pilgrim was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served various callings within the church. He served a Spanish-speaking American mission with the church for two years. He was a graduate of Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.
Survivors are his wife, Virginia Pilgrim; sons, Ray Hadfield Pilgrim and his wife, Rachel, John Steven Pilgrim II and his fiancée, Christine, Kenneth Phillips and his wife, Angela, Richard Phillips and his wife, Carol, and Alejandro Phillips and his wife, Adillee; daughters, Maria LaVene Thornton and her husband, David, Ana Elizabeth Pixley, Jacqueline Stephanie Pilgrim; brother, Jay Dee Pilgrim and his wife, Muriel; sisters, Violet Larae Cammack and Dorcus Elvira Lemmon; grandchildren, Courtney, Brandon, Tessa, Sara, Emily, Sonia, Mark, Josuea, Dana, Ulises, Andrew and Cloriana.
