John Henry Abbott

John Henry Abbott, age 45, of 410 North Main, Brigham City, Utah was found dead April 30, 1984, at his home.

He was born March 27, 1939, at Brigham City, a son of Jacob Clifford and Percilla Archibald Abbott. He married Aria Mary Higley at Brigham City. They were later divorced. He later married Velma Forsgren. They were later divorced.

He was a graduate of Malad High School and had attended Utah State University. He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator for Morton-Thiokol and Claude Nix Construction Company. He was a member of the LDS Church and the Fraternal order of the Eagles, No. 2919. He had served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Rodney (Denise) Boehme, Hyrum, Utah; Tamara Kaye Abbott, Mantua, Utah; Jennifer Abbott, John Jason Abbott, and Jared Henry Abbott, all of Ogden; his mother of Malad; and three brothers and one sister; Clifford Percy Abbott, Idaho Falls; Kenneth Roger Abbott, Tremonton; Gary Walter Abbott, Columbia, South Carolina; Mrs. Dennis W. (Marie) Payne, Howell, Utah; two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Brigham City on May 5, 1984. Burial was in the Brigham City Cemetery.
