John Brown

John Brown, 61, died Sunday, February 16, 1997 while vacationing in Thousand Palms, California of a sudden heart attack.
He was born on June 7, 1935 in Downey, Idaho, a son of Ivan A. and Harriett Mickelson Brown.
He married Karen Wills. They were later divorced.
He married Louise Price Lintz on June 6, 1981 in Baker, Nevada.
He was a member of the Ogden 62nd Ward.
He loved to travel, especially in Europe. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling and drinking coffee with his friends.
He attended Weber State College for four years.
He was a member of Ogden Elks Club.
He had been employed by Boeing Air Craft prior to working at Hill Air Force Base. He retired on May 1, 1996 following 20 years of dedicated service.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Lintz-Brown, Ogden; two sons and two daughters, Rodney J. (Becky) Brown, Ogden; Melany (Charles) Price, Phoenix, Ariz.’ Wesley (Mary) Lintz, Evanston, Wyo.’ Kimberlee Lintz, Ventura, Calif.;’ He especially loved his granddaughter and seven grandsons and great-granddaughter and seven grandsons and great-granddaughter. He was excited about the prospect of expecting a granddaughter in May. He is survived by four brothers; Donald Brown, Pocatello; Paul M. Brown, Ogden; Leon Brown, Sandy; James Brown, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.
He is also survived by his beloved dog, Boo-Boo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel, 845 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
