MALAD — Jewel Moore, 64, of Malad, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, in the Malad Living Center.
She was born November 26, 1936, in Pocatello, a daughter of Gerald and Margaret Moore. She was a well-educated woman and had received her education at the University of Montana, Columbia University and the Rocky Mountain College.
Jewel had taught English, worked as a social worker and in the newspaper industry. In 1996, she moved to the Pocatello region. The past few years she lived in the Malad living Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Moore (Keith) Howe, of Moscow, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday one hour before services.
