Downey……Jerry Bowman 40, of Downey, passed away on November 2, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah of heart failure. He was born on September 4, 1969 in Pocatello, Idaho a son of Gerald Dee and Cathryn Archibald Bowman. Jerry grew up and was educated in Downey and attended Marsh Valley High School. He worked for Idaho Milling in Malad and later for Pacific Recycling Co. Jerry married Patricia Windsor (they later divorced) and they were blessed with three children; Jerry Dale, Barbra Lucille and Joe Dwayne all of Downey. For several years Jerry owned and operated his own trucking business. He enjoyed hunting, camping and the outdoors. His greatest joy came in being with his three children. He is survived by his children, his parents; Gerald and Cathryn Bowman of Downey; one brother; Andy (Roseann) Bowman of Jerome; one sister; Paula Bowman of Downey; several aunts, uncles and cousins . Jerry was preceded in death by a sister; Georgia Ann Bowman; grandparents; Allen and Barbara Archibald and Harold and Lucille Andrew. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 9, 2009 at 12 noon in the Virginia LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may visit with the Bowman family on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral home 570 N.. Meadowview Dr. and on
Monday at the church from 10:30-11:45 am. Burial will follow in the Cambridge Cemetery.
