Jeannine “Jeannie” Warkentin

Jeannie passed away peacefully in her own home on the 15th of March 2017 at the age of 59. She was born on the 8th of July 1957 to Doyle Videt Wilson and Sharon Eleanor Leigh in Alameda, CA. Throughout her life she lived in California, Texas, Florida, Colorado, Ohio and 10 years ago permanently relocated to Idaho. She loved the mountains and trees and both of her ward families surrounding her in her McCammon haven. Jeannie has always had a passion for knowledge and learning. Throughout her life she never stopped learning and constantly taught herself a variety of life skills and developed her talents. Her greatest passions were for art, music-singing and playing musical instruments, languages and her children. In terms of her formal education she graduated with honors from Katy High School and both times with high honors from Idaho State University. Her first university degree was an Associate of Science degree in Applied Technology including certification in Message Therapy. Her other degree that she completed 2 years later in 2016 was a B.A. in Fine Arts. Jeannie was the mother of 12 children and did her best to share her knowledge and passion for learning with each of them individually and collectively. She always encouraged them to not let anything hold them back from following their dreams. She is survived by both of her parents and step parents, 3 sisters and her 12 children along with their spouses and their children-her 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on monday March 20 2017 at 12 noon in the McCammon LDS Stake Chapel. Friends may visit with family on Monday at the church from 10:30-11:45.
