Jay Clair Bush

Jay Clair Bush, 86, passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, January 17, 1997 at the home of his daughter in Roy.
He was born March 17, 1910 in Malad City, Idaho; the son of Robert Thomas Bush and Mary Williams Bush.
On June 12, 1931, he married Leatha Amelia De St Jeor in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She died June 26, 1994.
He served in the Army Signal Corps during World War 11.
He had resided in Malad City, Idaho, Tooele, Ogden, Brigham City and Roy, Utah.
He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was a member of the Roy LDS 14th Ward.
Mr. Bush is survived by two sons: Jay Lynn (Pat) Bush, St. George; and Donald Clair (Gay) Bush, Las Vegas; two daughters, Judith (Ray) Law, Roy; and Mary (Gayle) Allen, Ogden; and 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leatha, a son Thomas S. Bush, four brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 21, 1997 at 1 p.m. at the Malad City Cemetery in Idaho. Friends may call at Myers Mortuary of Roy, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
