Jason Chadwick Jones

ELWOOD – Jason Chadwick Jones, 30 died May 12, 1998 in a camping accident in Blacksmith Fork Canyon, Hyrum. He was born August 1, 1967 in Brigham City the son of Monty LaGrande Jones and Janet Nielson Holden. He married Cinnamon Bensen, August 1985 in Fielding. They later divorced. He married Sherrie Bronson, November 1990 in Elko, Nevada. They later divorced.

Jason was reared and educated in Tremonton and graduated from Bear River High School. He lived in Evanston, Wyoming and Brigham City. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and sports. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos.

Surviving are one son and one daughter, Trevor Chadwick Jones, Malad, Idaho; Felisha Waive Jones, Tremonton.

Also surviving are parents, Pete and Janet Holden, Elwood; Monty and LaNette Jones, Fielding; grandfather, Vernon Nielson, Elwood; two brothers Cole R. (Julie) Jones, Brigham City; Joshua L. Jones, Fielding; step-brothers, Nathan (Shelly) Wood, Ogden; Courtney (Kelly) Wood, Tremonton; step-sisters, Alyssa (Darrell) Harris, Logan; Haylee Wood, Fielding; one niece, Whitney Jones, Brigham City; and many aunts, uncles an cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Waive Nielson; grandparents, Chadwick L. an Bernice Jones; three brothers, Jordan Thomas Jones; Wyatt Samuel Jones and Benjamin Daniel Jones.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 15, 1998, 10:00 a.m. at Tremonton South Stake Center, 1150 So. Tremont St. Friends may call Thursday, May 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 E. Tremonton and Friday from 8:30 – 9:40 a.m. at the church.

Interment in Uintah Basin at 4:00 p.m.
