James Ezekiel Goodman

Malad – James Ezekiel Goodman, 56 of Malad, Idaho passed away December 13th [2010] in Salt Lake City following a long illness. Jim was born in Ventura, California to John H Goodman( Jack) and Emma Lou Goodman of Oxnard, California December 11, 1954 and raised in Oxnard, California; he moved to Malad in 1989. Jim was a retired truck driver and worked with his brother John at Malad Plumbing Repair.

Jim was a generous, loyal, kind and loving human being, he touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with, and was always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone in need. He will be missed by many. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the office of Elder.

Jim is survived by his son James C. Goodman (Amy), daughters Marcy Jones and Peggy Goodman all of Grants Pass, Oregon. A daughter, Christy Perkins (Richard)of Reno, Nevada and step-son Jesse Callicut (Wendy) of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his father John Goodman Sr. two brothers John H. Goodman Jr.(Terri) of Malad and
David W.Goodman of Oxnard, California. And two sisters Karen Woodley (Charles D) of Lake of Woods, California and Peggy Hales of Oxnard, California. Jim had 7 nephews and 5 nieces and 13 grandchildren, and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Lou Goodman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 in the Malad 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 20 S 100 W, at 12:00 noon. Friends may visit with the Goodman Family in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W 300 N, on Staurday morning from 10:30-11:30 am prior to the service.
