(December 30, 1942 – September 15, 2014) 

Jack E. Poppleton, born Dec. 30th 1942, Logan Ut., husband of Kathy Green Poppleton, and son of John G, and Lena Wheeler Poppleton, passed Monday Sept 15th of natural causes. Ed and Kathy were married April 7th 1961. Their children are Kathleen and Steve Spraker, Jacke and Ron Karlson, and Edie and Rich Gibbons. They have nineteen beautiful grandchildren, and fifteen precious great grandchildren. His family is Lynn Poppleton and Loni, Norm Poppleton, LeNada and Claude Bosworth, Mary and Scott Hadley, Annette Henderson and Clark Neeser. Ed graduated from Marsh Valley High, and retired from the J.R. Simplot Company. Ed loved working on and collecting vintage cars. He was instrumental in the formation of the Budweiser Pocatello Horseshoe League, and loved every minute of his ten years as president. He also loved his retirement job (playing golf). He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jay, and grandson Jed. A private family service will be held today. If desired, donations can be made in his name, to the Make A WISH Foundation
