Iris J. Brewerton

Iris J. Brewerton, 95, died at her home in Vancouver, British Columbia , Canada. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho, but grew up in Malad. She was a teacher and principal at St. John school and also taught in Shelley and Idaho Falls before moving to Raymond, Alberta, Canada, and later to Vancouver, B.C. where she lived until her death October 8, 1996.

At the time of her death she was a Director of the Neil J. Redfield Foundation, the Neil J. Redfield Land Company, and the Neil J. Redfield Trust.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Brewerton; her parents, David and Mary Jones; brothers, Tom and Dick Jones; sisters, Mres. Emmett Thomas, Mrs. William Hayes, Mrs. Elizabeth Rasmussen, Mrs. Oscar Jones and Mrs. Neil J. Redfield.

She is survived by Tom Jones, Nwil Hess, Wilorie Lewis, Enid Harris of Malad; Alyce and Jeane Jones of Reno, Nevada; Dawn Abbott of Sun Lakes, Arizona; and Merle Woolstenhulme of Upland, California.

Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
