Ida Dalton, 96, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. Malad, Idaho. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 12:00-12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ida, as she was known, was born on July 30, 1917 in Portage. Utah to Louis and Barbara Ellen (Nellie) Germer Knudson. She was the 4th of seven children. She passed away on July 24, 2014. She graduated from Bear River High School . After graduation she married Joe Dalton and moved to Malad, Idaho. They were later sealed for time and eternity .

In Malad she gave birth to 3 chi ldren . Kay, Clark and JoAnn. They moved from Malad to Pocatello where 4 more sons were born. Dennis, Max, Don and Sydney.

For many years she worked at the Starlite Drive-In Theater. She then managed the S & H Green Stamp s store until its closure.

Ida remained in Pocatello until her 90th birthday. She then divided her time between Montana and Boise.

Preceding her in death were her mother, father , husband, all 5 brothers. 1 sister, her sons Clark. Dennis, and Don. 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson. .

Surviving are 2 daughters. Kay Warren . Conner, MT., JoAnn (Joe) Osier. Boise, ID.. sons Max and Sydney (Karen) Pocatello, ID., numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Our dear mother will be greatly missed. She led a good and l ong l ife.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 29th at 1:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to services at noon at Horsley Funeral Home in Malad, Idaho. Burial will follow at the Malad Cemetery .
