Hank Sanders, 70, resident of Marsh Valley passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 of a lingering illness.

Hank was born on June 11, 1941 in Eufala, Oklahoma, a son of Wallace and Myrtle Sanders. He was raised and educated in Dustin, Oklahoma and graduated from Dustin High School Class of 1959. He married June Sanders on November 19, 1960 in Dustin, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Oklahoma City where Hank was working as a Mechanic. Hank was blessed with two beautiful children, a son Marlon Ray, and a daughter, Sherry Lynn. He had four grandchildren, Blake, Dustin, Kylie, and Chad. Hank loved and adored his family. He was a very hard worker and a great provider. Hank had a passion for life and his motorcycles, he enjoyed both. He was always willing to try different things, from scubba diving to flying. Hank was a great man who will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Hank was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Marlon Ray. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Downey City Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
