Services Saturday for Mrs. Henrietta Yearsley
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday for Mrs. Henrietta Parkinson Yearsley, 75, who died Wednesday (March 5, 1958) at the Oneida Hospital after a lingering illness. Bishop Walter Gibbs of the Portage LDS Ward will conduct the services at 1 p.m. in the Portage chapel. Friends may call at the Benson Funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday and at the Portage Ward chapel after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Yearsley was born in Portage, on Dec. 20, 1882, a daughter of Jennette Harris and James Parkinson. She was reared and educated there and was married to Charles W. Yearsley on May 13, 1904, in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Yearsley died in 1942.
A member of the LDS church, she was active in the Relief Society, Primary and Sunday School.
Survivors include a son, Ralph W. Yearsley, Pocatello; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother and three sisters, John Parkinson, Logan; Elizabeth Bell, Malad; Jennie Dopp, Odgen; Laura Wadman, Brigham City.
Interment will be in the Portage cemetery under direction of the Benson Funeral Home.
