Hazel Stone Bolingbroke

POCATELLO, Ida-Hazel Stone Bolingbroke, 89, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2000, at a Pocatello hospital.
She was born May 25, 1911, in Logan, Utah, a daughter of David L. and Sarah Emma (Crowther) Stone. She was the third of nine children. As a child, Hazel lived with her family on a homestead at Daniels, Idaho.
As a young woman, while working for a family in Malad, she met Guy Bolingbroke, and they were married. They were later sealed in the Logan, Utah temple. They farmed at Arbon Valley about 40 years, and raised three daughters, Connie, Darlene and Judy.
Hazel was active in the LDS Church both in Arbon and Pocatello. She loved working in the Primary and Mutual. She enjoyed attending cultural functions in her community. Hazel always sang in a choir, and most recently sang with the Silver Chords. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at the Bannock Regional Medical Center for several years.
Hazel is survived by her two daughters, Connie (Lenard) Neilsen, Judy ( Steve) Carter; two sisters; one brother; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter (Darlene), parents, five sisters, one brother, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at the LDS Chapel at 225 Oakwood Drive, with Bishop Clayton Case officiating. The viewing will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 25, 2000, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave., Pocatello, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
