Harvey Dell Hansen

Harvey Dell Hansen 62, of Malad, Idaho passed away March 25th 2010 in Los Bauos, Ca.
He was born on June 24, 1947 in Malad, Idaho to Dell and Hazel Tubbs Hansen. He was the oldest of 4 children.
He grew up in Sugar City, Idaho and gradutated with the class of 1965.
He was married to to Marilyn Jacobs and later divorced. He then married Teri Hill and was later divorced.
On November 9, 1991 he married Karen Williams in Malad, Idaho.
He farmed for a few years in the Daniels area. He then became the owner-operator of his own Trucking Co., Hansen Farms. Where he logged countless miles. He took great pride in being the very best, making sure every load was picked up and delivered on time.
He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, snowmobiling, four- wheeling, family reunions, and attending sporting events and activities that his children were involved in. He enjoyed his friends, he loved to talk and tell a few jokes.
He is survived by his mother Hazel Hansen, his best friend and wife Karen, his children Erica and Brett Hansen, Alicia (Scott) Jacobson, Tamra Nelson, Jason Hansen, Melissa ( Micah) Smith, Christina (Brandon) Williams, Blake (Kari) Davis and Step Children Pete and Kristy Colungo. One bother Shayne (Susan) Hansen, two sisters Delene (Doyle) Peterson and Carol (Tony) Rothwell. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Dell Hansen and his Grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Malad LDS Stake Chapel, located at 1100 W. 1250 N. Friends may visist with the Hansen Family on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Horsley Funeral Home 132 W. 300 N. and on Friday one hour prior to the services at the Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers an account has been set up at Ireland Bank to help the family with funeral expenses.
