MALAD — Harold “Rick” Davis, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at Oneida County Nursing Home of heart failure.

He was born June 21, 1916, in Malad, Idaho, a son to Thomas J. Davis and Rachael Ann Jones. He was raised and educated in Malad, and was a graduate of Malad High School.

He enjoyed working with his hands and was skilled in wood work. He enjoyed taking trips in his automobile to take in all of the sights.

He is survived by nephews Gary T. Davis, Parley Odell Davis, Joe Ray Davis, Tarrell Davis (of Idaho), Larry Davis, Hal Davis, Tommy Davis (of Utah), Brent Davis (of Nevada); nieces, Sheila Davis Hankins, Kathleen Davis Mason, Lynette Davis Grange (of Utah), and Susan Davis Posse (of Texas).

Funeral services will be held at Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North, Malad, Idaho, Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at 2 p.m. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
