Gordon L. Myler

Gordon L. Myler passed away June 29, 2013 due to natural causes. He was born September 2, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Vonda Myler. He was the third son of seven children. He graduated from Marsh Valley High School. Gordon was married to his best friend, Jackie on December 23, 1965. They were sealed in the Logan Temple on June 5, 1972. Gordon served in the United States Army Reserve for six years. They lived in Pocatello, Arimo, and now reside at Downata Hot Springs.

He was very proud of his 5 children, three sons , two daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Gordon loved his wife and family. They have several memories of traveling with friends and family. He also loved to be outside and help whoever was in need and wherever they were. He loved to watch his kids and grandkids in sports and rodeo events.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, and served in many different positions. He and his wife Jackie are exceptional parents who have raised and taught their children by their example of service and selfless love. He never met a stranger and treated everyone like his best friend.

Gordon is survived by his wife Jackie and four children: Travis, (Karla) Myler, Micheal, (Amy) Myler, Patricia, (Jared) Dalling, Kate, (Jared) Johnson. His siblings: Don, (Nancy) Myler, Dean, (Kathy) Myler, Steve, (Karen) Myler, Carol, (Kevin) Beebee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, and one grandson.

At his request, a small service for family and close friends will be held.
