Glennys Larson Edwards passed away December 29, 2004 at a Boise, Idaho hospital from complications following a stroke suffered in October. Glennys was born May 3, 1926 at Downey, Idaho, the daughter of Archie W. and Annie D. Larson. She grew up and attended school and church at Grant Ward, Idaho, where her parents had a dry farm. Glennys worked many years as a cook for the Weiser and McCall public schools and ten years as a cook at a McCall rest home.

Glennys was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ivalue L. Packard, her brothers, Jean, Lavern, Rex, Henry and Reed Larson. Her brother, Roy D. Larson and his wife, Myrna of Downey, Idaho survive her. Also survived by her husband of 62 years, Glenn Joseph Edwards of New Plymouth, Idaho, sons Gary L. Edwards and W. Kayl of Oakland, California, Brent J. Edwards and his wife Joann of Payette, Idaho, and Collin D. Edwards and his wife Lynn of Puyallap, Washington. Also survived by grandchildren, Cassy Edwards Sykes, JD Edwards, Stacee Edwards Ash, Brenda Edwards Dale and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held a the Horsley Funeral Home in Malad City, Idaho on January 4, 2005. Interment was in the Malad City Cemetery.
