Glenna Ruby Monson Clark

Glenna Ruby Monson Clark, 76, passed away on September 14, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family after an extended illness.
She was born February 26, 1933 t Wendell and Pearl Monson in Malad, Idaho. She graduated from Malad High School. She married Donald Clark on March 6, 1951. Vows were later solemnized May 7, 1965 in the Logan Temple.
Glenna was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed her family and friends and celebrated every holiday with them. She loved music and was a beloved vocalist and great gardener. Glenna welcomed all with a hug and kiss. She always made visitors and family feel at home.
As a preschool teacher, she was honored by KSL and Zion’s Bank for her outstanding work as a teacher. She loved little children and they were very precious to her.
She served in many callings in the LDS Church as Primary Chorister, Young Women’s Advisor, Relief Society President and Sunday School teacher. The Spirit of the Lord surrounded her in all that she did.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, W. Donald Clark, son, W. Craig Clark of Clinton, Utah; son, Timothy (Julie) Clark of Salt Lake; daughter, Cindy (Tyne) Trimble of Roy, Utah; daughter, Tammy Clark of Phoenix, Arizona; and Sherlene Clark of Ogden, Utah. She has 16 grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Glenna was preceded in death by a son, Donald Jr., parents, and Leon Monson.
Family and friends may call from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, at Myers Mortuary in Roy, Utah, 5865 South 1900 West, and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, September 19 at the LDS Church located at 1828 North 3000 West, Clinton, Utah. Interment at the Malad Cemetery in Malad, Idaho
