Gerald Brent Jeppsen

Gerald Brent Jeppsen, 55, of Malad die Sunday, March 7, 1993, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. He was born September 9, 1937, in Brigham City, Utah a son of Virgil Dan and Phoebe Mae North Jeppsen. He grew up and was educated in Brigham and was a graduate of Box Elder High School. He had served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Korean Conflict. On September 9, 1955,he married Jacqui Banks in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He began employment with Thiokol Corporation in 1959 and had worked there since.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was a High Priest in the Malad 1st Ward.

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and especially loved golfing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Jacque of Malad; sons and spouses: Brian Keith and Anita Jeppsen, Ronald Brent and Holly Jeppsen, all of Malad, and Elder Chris Virgil Jeppsen serving an LDS Mission in Brazil; daughters and spouses: David and (Tammy) Williams of Malad, and Alan and (Kaylene) Larsen of Arbon Valley; 13 grandchildren; two brothers: Glen Jeppsen of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Glade Jeppsen of Brigham City, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Brian, and one sister, Sherrie.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 10, at 12 Noon in the Malad LDS 1st Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
