George Thomas Williams

George Thomas Williams, 61, died in St. Anthony Hospital at Pocatello Sunday. He was born Feb. 22, 1901, in Samaria to David D. and Rebecca Williams. In 1923 he moved to Draper, Utah. He married Theona Withers Oct. 4, 1924 in Malad. They lived in Salt Lake City for 25 years then resided two years in Brigham City where he operated the Brigham Radiator Shop. In 1950 they moved to Pocatello and he operated the radiator shop, at Garrett Freight-lines until three years ago. He was injured and retired because of ill health.
Mr. Williams was a member of the Pocatello LDS Fourth Ward. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and outdoor life.
Surviving are his wife, employed by Farmers Insurance Co.; two sons, Jay C. Salt Lake City; Val G., Pocatello; six grandchildren; two brothers, David J., Malad; Jenkin H., Ogden; six sisters, Sarah McGuire, Draper; Mary J. Hill, Malad; Eliza j Rees, Catherine Von Able, Ogden; Margaret Ripley. New Philadelphia, Ohio; Beatrice Keehn, Whittier, California. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Man- ning Funeral Chapel, Pocatello, with Bishop Harold B. Thomas, LDS 4th Ward, officiating.
