SERVICES THURSDAY FOR GEORGE H. ATKINSON

Funeral services for George H. Atkinson, 82, Ogden, whose body was found Sunday in the Ogden River, will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday in the Myers Mortuary at Ogden with Bishop Harry P. Nasfell of the Eleventh Ward officiating.

Mr. Atkinson was born Nov. 18, 1882, in Cherry Creek, Idaho, a son of Joshua Charles and Margaretta Olofsson Atkinson. He was married to Caroline Christena Benson on Nov. 11, 1930 in Ogden.

A retired carpenter for Utah General Depot, he was a High Priest in the LDS 11th Ward. He lived his early life in Samaria, later resided at Elwood, Utah before moving to Ogden.

Surviving are his widow, one stepson, Clyde M. Ricks, Minneapolis, Minn.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Virginia Luttrell, Anaheim, California; six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Eleanor A. Hansen, Logan.
