Geneil Williams Brown

Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother was born Feb 21, 1939 and returned to her Heavenly Father after a continuous illness on June 13, 2000.
She was born to Neil and Marcell Williams in Malad, Idaho and was the eldest of 4 children. She was married to Stanley Stroud, had a son Steve and then divorced, later marrying Boyd L. Brown. They have a daughter Cindy. Geneil was a top producer for the Salt Lake Board Realtors in Davis County for over 25 years, a Broker, a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club, Master Status, GRI. Attended State and National Real Estate Conventions and was a Certified Residential Specialist. Geneil worked at South Davis Realty, Coldwell Banker, Realty Executives and Wardley. Geneil was the owner of A& B Wall Décor, with her sisters Pam and Trudy and her mother Marcell. She was a member of Oakridge Country Club for many years, a member of the Woman’s Golf Association and avid golfer as soon as she married Boyd.
Geneil loved life and traveling. Her many talents include: water coloring and oil painting, crocheting, knitting, gardening and collecting bird houses. Her love, sweetheart and companion was her loving husband, Boyd for 38 wonderful years. Her son, Steve and daughter, Cindy loved and always admired her for her strength through all her hardships and know that they will be with her again.
Geneil is survived by her husband, Boyd L. Brown; son, Steve Stroud and wife, Betti of Texas; and her daughter, Cindy Brown Hazen and husband John of Layton. Geneil is also survived by her mother, Marcell Sheffield (Nana) and her husband Byron; two sisters, Trudy Jarvis and husband Mike, Pam Abbott and husband Elliot, both of Salt Lake City; and her brother, Mike Williams and wife, Carolyn. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Brittany, Rochelle, Aubrey and Bobbi Lou. She was preceded in death by her father, Neil Williams whom she has now joined hands with for eternity.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday June 17, 2000 at the Mueller Park Chapel, 1800 South 900 East, Bountiful. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and again Saturday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church.
