Gary Dee Richardson, 79, former resident of Downey, ID passed away peacefully at home in Salt Lake City, UT on June 3, 2015. He was known for his love of family, music and country – serving 20 years of active service in the U.S. Navy and then 6 more years as an ROTC instructor. He was born Aug 6, 1935, in Spokane, WA, son of Warren & Maude Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his loving wife, Donna; Children: Patti (Daryl) Hagler S.L.C., UT; Gary (Jeanie) Richardson Las Vegas, NV; Julie Ferrin Las Vegas, NV; 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. . Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Downey LDS 2nd Ward Chapel. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday morning at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
