Frances Willie Daly

Frances Willie Daly, 55, died Wednesday, April 1, 1998 in Foresthill, Placer California. She was born March 12, 1943 in Culver City, Las Angeles, California, a daughter of James Gordon Willie and Edna Croft.

Frances was a homemaker and a talented seamstress. She worked hard with family members and built a log home in Foresthill. She worked 14 years for the government, first at Hill Air Force Base in Utah and then moved to McClellan Air Force Base with the work load transfer.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

Frances had a year long struggle with cancer.

Surviving are her friend and companion Bill Scott, Foresthill, Calif.; one son, Jeff Storey, Copertino, Calif.; and three daughters, Melanee Spendlove, Auburn, Calif.; Liz Wolfe, Clinton, Utah; and Ginny Hendricks, Roy. She has seven grandchildren.

Also surviving are a step-father, Cenious T. Waldron, Morgan, Utah; two brothers, Walter Croft Willie, Fairbanks, Alaska; and Allen Scott Willie, Syracuse; a sister, Alona Willie Pentz, Croydon, Utah; two half-brothers, Robb Willie, St. George; G. Jay Willie, Syracuse; and two half-sisters, Loralei Willie Schwartz and Julie Willie Ellmore of Malad, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two children.

Funeral services will be held April 4, 1998 in the Lasilla Funeral Home in Auburn, California. Services began at 10 a.m. Interment, Auburn Cemetery.

The family requests not to send flowers, but make donations to the local Hospice.
