Frances Servoss Hunter Blood

OGDEN – Frances S. Hunter Blood, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, died Tuesday, November 3, 1998 of age related causes, at a Bountiful nursing home. She was 99.

Mrs. Blood was born in Roy, Utah on April 5, 1899, a daughter of Guy and Alice Child Servoss. She had two sisters, Dorothy (Dart) and Doris, and a brother Arthur.

She married Cecil D. Hunter in 1918. They had three children – Dale, Arthur, and Beverly. Mr. Hunter died in 1960. Mrs. Blood later married Byron Blood. They were sealed for time and all eternity and were married until Mr. Blood’s death.

Mrs. Blood is survived by her brother, J. Arthur Servoss of Malad, Idaho; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, three grandchildren and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, with Dee Hunter officiating.
