Florence Pearl Bunderson Wade

MALAD – Florence Pearl Bunderson Wade, 88, longtime Malad resident, died Tuesday, December 20, at the home of her daughter in Kaysville, Utah.
She was born November 20, 1900 in Snowville, Utah, to William Victor and Sarah Ellen Harris Bunderson. Her early years were spent in Stone, where she was raised and educated.
She married Lawrence B. Wade October 1, 1919 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died September 7, 1982. Following their marriage they made their home in American Falls, moving to Malad in 1925, where she had since resided.
She was a member of the LDS Church, serving as Primary president of the Horse Island Branch in American Falls; for 30 years she served as a Primary teacher, until she was 78; she also served as a visiting teacher for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Elden W. Wade, Boise; Marven A. Wade, Idaho Falls; Earlen L. Wade, Pocatello; four daughters, Mrs. Blaine (Vera) Frampton, Orem, Utah; Mrs. Gene (Rosalie) Colton, Pocatello; Mrs. Jesse (June) Dredge, Kaysville, Utah; Mrs. Wade (Afton) Quinlan, Mendon, Utah; 53 grandchildren; and 108 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sons and one daughter.
Funeral services were held noon on Friday in the Malad LDS Second Ward Chapel where friends called on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home of Malad.
