F.A. Tony Cuoio

F.A. Tony Cuoio, 87, 124 N. Fourth Ave., died Sunday, July 21, 1996, at a local care facility.

He was born March 15, 1909, in Pocatello, the son of Vito and Filomena Guido Cuoio.

He attended Idaho State University and then graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in business administration.

Tony married Fern D. Camp on Dec. 11, 1937, in Blackfoot and worked as a carpenter.

He also worked for ISU Maintenance Department for 15 years before retiring.

He was a life member of the V.F.W. And the Carpenters Union.

Tony served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

He enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his son, David and wife Nancy Cuoio of Boise, two brothers, Bert, and Fred Cuoio and two sisters, Ann Schenck and Yolanda Donnigan, all of Pocatello.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern, two brothers Antonio and James.

Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted Monday, 10 a.m. at Downard Hansen Funeral Home, 241 N. Garfield with Father Dennis Wassmuth, officiating.

Interment is scheduled to follow in the family plot in Mountainview Cemetery.
