Funeral Friday For Mrs. Eve J. Williams

Mrs. Eve Jardine Williams, 72, died suddenly Tuesday at the Oneida hospital following an illness of one day.

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held 1 p.m., Friday, April 15th at the Malad LDS Second ward with Bishop Myron P. Sorenson in charge. Friends may call at the family home, 247 E. 155 S., Thursday afternoon after 4 p.m. and Friday until time of services. Interment will be in the Malad City Cemetery under the direction of the Benson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams was born July 31, 1882 at Cherry Creek, a daughter of James and Susannah Dudley Jardine. Reared and educated at Cherry Creek, she was a lifelong Oneida county resident. She was married to John O. Williams January 14, 1904 at Cherry Creek.

Surviving are her husband, Malad; four sons and two daughters: Mrs. Rulon (Katherine) Burton, Pocatello; Homer D. Williams, Grace; Lt. Col. Jack L. Williams, U.S. Army, Newport, R.I.; James J. Williams, Fort Collins. Colo; Mr. Lester (Evelyn) Hartvigsen, Malad; Robert B. Williams, Ephraim. Utah; 14 grandchildren, four sisters: Mrs. D. W. Tovey, St. John; Mrs. James Paddock and Mrs. John Paddock, Wisdom. Montana; Mrs. Paul Paddock. ,? ,Montana.
